This photograph to me shows a bit of the life African Americans live during the Great Depression. There was nothing great about it, they survived each day as it came. In this picture it shows the working and living conditions of African Americans of that time. As you can see, the conditions are of horrid safety, unsaintary for anyone, and the people in this picture look rather young, more like children. To me the Great Depression seemed to only rely on the color of your skin, not your age.
